Overview

Positive Zero has partnered with Emirates Industrial Panel (EIP), a subsidiary of TIG Holding, to install a 458 kWp solar system on their rooftop as a part of the business commitment to sustainability and net zero targets. This installation has reduced grid dependency and allowed them to become more energy resilient.

Highlights

Fully built, financed and operated by Positive Zero, the project marks the beginning of on-site renewable energy generation at EIP's manufacturing facility.

With an installed capacity of 458 kWp, the solar plant is expected to generate more than 11.4 GWh of clean electricity over the lease period, avoiding over 7,660 metric tons of carbon emissions. That environmental impact is equivalent to growing a total of 126,750+ trees over 10 years, powering almost 1,600 homes, or removing almost 1,790 passenger vehicles from the road.
