Overview
Positive Zero partnered with Kent College Dubai to install a 1.3 MWp solar rooftop and carport system, making it the largest school-based solar project in Dubai. This initiative reduces emissions, cuts electricity costs, and supports sustainability education.
Highlights
Positive Zero’s solar installation generates 2.3 GWh of clean energy annually, displacing 1,600 metric tons of CO₂—the equivalent of charging 200 million smartphones. The project helps reduce DEWA electricity costs by up to 50%, providing long-term financial savings while reinforcing Kent College’s commitment to sustainability.
As Positive Zero’s first school project, this collaboration sets a benchmark for integrating renewable energy into education and fostering environmental awareness among students.
