Positive Zero partnered with Silicon Central Mall to install a 1MWp solar carport, generating clean energy while supporting the mall’s sustainability initiatives. The project reduces emissions, provides shaded parking, and integrates EV charging stations.
Highlights
Covering 5,500 sqm, the solar carport generates 1.7 GWh of renewable energy annually, offsetting 1,205 metric tons of CO₂—equivalent to 20,000 tree seedlings grown for 10 years. The project aligns with Dubai’s carbon-neutral vision for 2050, reducing the mall’s environmental impact while enhancing energy efficiency. The installation also features four EV charging stations, encouraging sustainable transportation for visitors and tenants.
