Positive Zero installed a 2MWp solar carport at The Sevens Stadium, transforming it into Dubai’s largest solar-powered sports facility. This project supports the UAE’s clean energy goals while reducing operational costs and environmental impact.
Highlights
Spanning 10,551 sqm, the solar carport features 4,500 solar modules, generating 3.6GWh of clean energy annually. This offsets 1,496 metric tons of CO₂ emissions each year, contributing to The Sevens Stadium’s goal of becoming the region’s greenest sports arena. Positive Zero designed, financed, and operates the system, ensuring long-term sustainability while supporting Emirates Group’s commitment to responsible energy consumption.
