In July 2026, Emirates Industrial Panel (EIP), a trusted provider of advanced insulated sandwich panel solutions serving customers in more than 60 countries, officially inaugurated its new rooftop solar plant.

Fully built, financed and operated by Positive Zero, the project marks the beginning of on-site renewable energy generation at EIP's manufacturing facility.

With an installed capacity of 458 kWp, the solar plant is expected to generate more than 11.4 GWh of clean electricity over the lease period, avoiding over 7,660 metric tons of carbon emissions. That environmental impact is equivalent to growing a total of 126,750+ trees over 10 years, powering almost 1,600 homes, or removing almost 1,790 passenger vehicles from the road.

This inauguration reflects a shared commitment by Emirates Industrial Panel and Positive Zero to advancing the UAE's energy transition. Building on EIP's focus on energy-efficient manufacturing, responsible production and lower carbon emissions, this partnership creates further opportunities for collaborative development projects.

For manufacturers across the UAE, projects like this demonstrate how renewable energy can complement broader sustainability initiatives. By generating electricity directly where it is consumed, businesses can reduce dependence on conventional power sources, improve energy resilience and integrate clean energy into their day-to-day operations without disrupting core business activities or company balance sheets.
