Water and energy are deeply interconnected, and as demand for both grows; strengthening supply security will require alignment across water systems, energy infrastructure, and the investment frameworks that support them.

The panel explored the role of public-private partnerships, green financing, and investment frameworks in building a more resilient and diversified water future for the region.

Sustainable solutions are now cost-competitive with conventional energy sources, while investors increasingly seek bankable projects supported by predictable revenues and credible performance.

She also highlighted the critical role of boardroom-level engagement in driving meaningful change, noting that while the knowledge, technologies, and solutions needed to address water security already exist, the challenge now lies in translating awareness into action through decisive leadership and investment.
