In February 2026, a ribbon was cut at Isuzu Motors International FZE (IIF) head office in JAFZA — marking the moment when a newly installed rooftop solar system officially began powering part of the facility’s daily operations. Developed by Positive Zero, the system had moved from months of planning and installation into its next phase: quietly generating electricity above the operations it supports.

For Isuzu Motors International FZE (IIF), the system forms part of the company’s broader corporate social responsibility commitments and its vision of contributing to a more sustainable society. By turning existing rooftop space into a source of clean electricity, the facility now produces part of the energy it consumes while reducing both emissions and operating costs over time.

Across the UAE’s industrial landscape, projects like this are becoming an increasingly familiar sight. Warehouses, factories, and logistics hubs are beginning to look at their rooftops differently — not simply as structural space, but as an opportunity to generate power on-site. In doing so, facilities are finding practical ways to integrate clean energy directly into their operations while strengthening the resilience and efficiency of their everyday infrastructure.
